Last october I wrote in
<Pine.OSX.4.58.0510071036560.5191 [at] tigger.local> of a book I got
out of the library but failed to make note of the author or
title.
"...the book was really odd, but in a good way, and I would
like to find it again.
The protagonist has to go on a journey somewhere for
$some_reason (perhaps to find a missing husband?), and sees some
odd things en route..."
I spent some time today browsing the entire shelf in Balckwells
until I found it - and a signed copy too.
The book I was describing is Geoff Dyer's The Search and I
recommend it to you all. It is only 150 pages, and rather good.

You know, somebody actually complimented me on my driving today.
They left a little note on the windscreen,
it said 'Parking Fine.' So that was nice.
